The mission of IdealProfit Inc. is, firstly, to pioneer a practical experimental finance for an ideally profitable corporation for the third millennium. In our fifty two product divisions we aim to celebrate the genius of our customers, our staff and all our stakeholders.
This mission statement has grown out of Dr. Richard Kirby's experience for the five academic years 1997-2001 teaching business ethics, leadership and business, government, society courses at the University of Washington; and out of his work elsewhere as a finance teacher (see http://www.wnrf.org/). Also, Dr. Kirby's experience for the last nine years 1997-2006 developing the Stuart C. Dodd Institute for Social Innovation in Seattle has pointed him to the need for profoundly innovative, but morally excellent corporations to be created and operated as blueprints for a better society. Therefore the mission of the corporation is partly to serve as an ethical "role model" for emerging companies, start-ups and pioneering commercial ventures in the 21st century.
The "experimental" part of the mission statement signifies that the corporation’s financial code of experimental entrepreneurship evolves in the light of sought-out experience; therefore the company offers a paradigm of experimental financial ethics – that is, the highest and best excellences of wealth creation to socially responsible businesses.
The IdealProfit mission statement signifies a level of moral reflection above philosophy and ethics, but containing them. It also implies a particular connection by the company to experimental financial innovation, and a service of “wealth creation” enablement to all the "businesses of tomorrow".
The Ideal Profit mission implies a concept of community, creativity and celebration: the company is to be a role model in terms of corporate culture as a world of fun, connectedness and radical creativity.
The mission of IdealProfit Inc. is, secondly, to pioneer a practical experimental business management model, management science and technology for an ideally intelligent corporation for the third millennium. In our fifty two product divisions we aim to celebrate the genius of our customers, our staff and all our stakeholders.
Hence our slogan:
The Business of Genius for the Geniuses of Business!
In the following formal statement of our approach to the definition of the ideally intelligent corporation, we thus present, in effect, the first iteration of our model of business genius. We anticipate that this experimental model will evolve rapidly in the light of sought-after experience according to hypothetico-deductive scientific method. Our proposed procedure is to define the different types of intelligence named by Howard Gardner, Daniel Goleman and others, and set up operational definitions of the ideally intelligent corporation from the viewpoint of these intelligence types such as emotional, spiritual, social, etc.
We will then be inviting corporations to define their intelligence in this way, and to specify what would increase it towards the theoretical imaginable limit (s) - its ideal (s).
We recognize that these ARE operational definitions and not normative or absolutist. In this way we offer our corporation as a contributor to the intelligence of the Body Politic and the worlds of international business and the theory of the corporation; and we invite corporations and volunteer scholars to join us in measuring, defining and increasing all corporate intelligence towards its ideal perfections. We are particularly interested in getting the input of Mensa members from all over the world as we endeavor to "grow" in the test tube of commercial experience the ideally intelligent corporation as a contribution, as a prototype and as an archetype in the worlds of international business of the Third Millennium.
